Biographical Information

KC Sim serves as Partner with Allen Austin in Asia. He has over nine years experience in executive search. KC previously served as Senior Vice President with DHR International, based in Hong Kong and with Ken Clark International - based in Shanghai, as Vice President.

KC’s executive search experience includes placing Asian-based senior executives in industries such as Health Care, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Fast Moving Consumer Goods, Industrial & Manufacturing as well as many other sectors; working with companies such as Tyco Healthcare (now known as Covidien), Baxter, Synthes, Avon, Ingersoll-Rand, Smith & Nephew, just to name a few. He covers the Asian region and has experience in Hong Kong, China, Japan, Singapore and South East Asia.

KC was based in Shanghai for almost 5 years and also spent 2 years of his search career in Hong Kong when he joined DHR International. Prior to joining the executive search industry, KC served as an Account Manager, handling several key clients for one of Singapore's leading information technology company.

Born and raised in Singapore, KC is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. KC holds a Bachelor of Business, Major in Human Resource Management, from La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia. He also holds a Diploma of Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic, in Singapore.
